As steward of the National AIDS Memorial Grove and the AIDS Memorial Quilt, the National AIDS Memorial is responsible for their care, preservation, and public access. This stewardship ensures that lives are remembered with respect and that the history of HIV/AIDS remains visible and protected.

Care for the Grove each year. Volunteers ensure that the 10 acres of the National AIDS Memorial Grove are cared for, protected, and maintained for the thousands of people who visit the Grove throughout the year.
